BREAKING: Salado Tornado Caused Catastrophic Damage, Potentially EF-3 Tornado

4/13/2022

Comments

A tornado caused catastrophic damage a few miles West of Salado last night. This is just South of Waco, TX. At this time, several injuries were reported, but there are no fatalities to account for as of now.

The tornado was on the ground for at least 20 minutes last night. The radar imagery below shows the debris ball sitting WSW of Salado, otherwise on the southern portion of the storm. Based off of the images that we've seen, we suspect that this tornado was at EF-3 or EF-4 magnitude as it ripped through areas West of Salado.
