Could Texas see a Hurricane Late Next Weekend?

TROPICS ALERT: There is a potential that late next weekend we see a tropical system form in the Gulf of Mexico, and possibly move into Texas. This is a very broad outlook as it is very difficult to predict the tropics 9+ days out, however, multiple models agree something could form just off the coast of Texas. Still early to tell, but if we were to see this, it would be late next weekend into the early 2nd week of June. I am keeping a LOW-MOD risk of Hurricane Potential in Southeastern TX. This looks to make landfall and push more west towards the Big Counties (which will lose most of its strength by the time it gets there).

By my predictions, if everything goes as I think it could, this could make potential landfall as a Category 1 or 2 Hurricane. Once again, this is a very far out prediction so lots can change. Don't panic if you live in Southeastern TX, I am just giving a heads up on the potential of this to occur.
