Severe storms are possible for Southeastern DFW tomorrow. All threats are in play as areas in Southeastern DFW and Southeastern TX are expecting a potential round of scattered storms, in which some could be severe.
Storms are possible anywhere Southeast of DFW. Storms are expected to develop during the early-mid afternoon hours and create a line that will push east. Storms could contain anything from damaging winds to hail, and even an isolated tornado.
Now, the risks overall are marginal (low). This does not mean to panic if you live in any areas shaded, it just means you should be prepared for any storm activity. I don't anticipate much in the light-green shaded area. I would safely say the people most at risk would be Southeast of Palestine, TX. Most of the storms will form in the darker-green shaded area, but I cannot rule out an isolated storm or two closer to DFW. Nothing is expected be severe near DFW.
Flooding - Low
Damaging Winds (60+ MPH) - Low-Mod
Gusty Winds (40-55 MPH) - Low
Severe Hail (1"+ Diameter) - Low
Small Hail (<1" Diameter) - Low-Mod
Isolated Tornado - Low
Make sure to give a heads up to anyone you know that lives in Eastern/Southeastern TX or Louisiana!
