Low Risk of Severe Storms in North Texas for Saturday

Here is your Severe Weather Potential for today. Most of DFW is under a "low" risk of severe weather today.

The Low Risk that I have in place for North Texas today is mainly for a few storms that are developing from the abundance of moisture. The storms are forming mainly around Waco, Palestine, and areas south, and they are making their way towards Southern DFW. I cannot rule out some small hail, gusty winds, or a brief spinup, but nothing widespread.

There is also a Low-Mod Risk in Western DFW for tonight, as a line of storms will form in Western TX, and push its way towards DFW. Luckily, this will not be anything like last night. This line may reach Denton County, however, it will not have the same intensity, and it would likely be rain and maybe a few rumbles of thunder.

There is one last area in a Low-Mod risk way out in Northeastern TX, where they could see spotty damaging winds, hail, and maybe an isolated tornado. Once again, nothing widespread over there.
