Monday: Windy but comfortable day, with wind gusts from 15-25 MPH possible during the morning and afternoon out of the north. Highs in the mid 50s.
Tuesday: Windy day expected, with winds coming out of the south. Wind gusts 25-40 MPH possible. An overall cloudy day is expected across DFW, with spotty showers and isolated storms. A few storms could be strong during the evening. Afternoon temperatures should reach 60. Best chance for storms after midnight.
Wednesday: Storms during the early morning hours are very likely at this current time. Storms could be severe. The long-term projections suggest threats of damaging winds or an isolated tornado are possible. Highs will likely be in the mid 50s, which should limit widespread severe weather. Afternoon clearing into sunshine is expected at this time. Lows will likely dip into the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Thursday: Fairly sunny New Year's Eve. Wind gusts between 15-25 MPH possible. Highs may only get into the upper 40s. Lows closer to 30.
Friday: Mainly sunny morning, followed by some afternoon clouds. Highs in the lower 50s, lows in the lower 30s for most.
Saturday: Morning hour flurries/light to moderate snow is possible. Since we are still 7 days away, I am not going to give full details since these models are always changing snow possibilities. Snow would only be possible during the morning hours (6-10AM). Highs in the lower 50s, lows around 30. (For once, the GFS is predicting this, not the European)
Sunday: Beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. Highs around 50, lows around 30.
